Dynamite Baits kauft ACE

Gerade erst wurde die bekannte britische Köder-Firma Dynamite Baits von Rapala übernommen, nun streckt sie selber ihre Fühler in Richtung Tackle-Markt aus. Mit der Übernahme von ACE wird aus Dynamite Baits ein „Big Player“ im Karpfenmarkt und bestimmt werden auch bald auf dem deutschen Markt die ersten Produkte von ACE zu finden sein.

Dynamite Baits Buys Advanced Carp Equipment

Nottingham-based bait manufacturer, Dynamite Baits, has acquired leading Carp Tackle brand Advanced Carp Equipment (ACE). The deal will see significant funding being made available to ACE to allow the company to embark on an accelerated development program which will see this innovative carp company vastly increase its product ranges with immediate effect.

ACE Director, Max Cottis, who will continue to drive the product development, had this to say about the deal: “Since the launch of Advanced Carp Equipment three years ago, I have strived to ensure that ACE built its reputation for innovative and top quality carp products that offer a genuine benefit to the carp angler. I started out promising myself that I would NEVER sign off on any product as ‘that will do’, if I thought I could still improve it further then I felt I had a duty to do so. Likewise, I also decided from the outset that I would never allow a product to go to market unless I would be happy using it for my own fishing!

Being part of Dynamite Baits and the Rapala Group provides us all with an amazing opportunity. Rapala has stated that it wants to become a major player within the carp fishing sector and when a company like this takes that decision then you had better sit up and take notice.

The backing ACE will receive, not only monetary but also by way of distribution, sales and marketing, will allow us to bring forward the development and introduction of many new  product ranges that were planned over the next five years of which many are already underway. Some new products could be unveiled as soon as the Tackle & Guns Show in October 2011,” explained Max.

ACE will immediately benefit from Dynamite Baits’ vast distribution which means more wholesalers and shops than ever before will have access to ACE products. There will also be substantial marketing investment and focus to ensure retailers and anglers alike are educated on the superior quality and innovation involved in ACE products.

Dynamite Baits’ Marketing Manager, Steve Cole, had this to say:
